actually not... the SV NKS presets were hosed and did not appear in the Maschine or KK Browsers...

Fixed the issue for me! Funny enough, I opened up a ticket with support, and they blamed the macOS Big Sur beta. Got the reply back on the same day this bug fix was released. Seems like the left hand may not know what the right hand is doing over there, or support just over-relies on generic responses instead of actually investigating issues.

Any support from any company will immediately point out any unsupported thing you use, especially an OS, that's how it goes. If you use unsupported things you have to live with that, as a Hackintosh user I am in the same boat.

If the issue is acknowledged here there's really no reason to send tickets anyway.

Fair enough, although I had submitted the ticket before that had happened. It took about 3 days to get a reply, which made the generic response all the more frustrating.

I understand, support is probably getting flooded with questions about K13 and Mas+ right now, for the future just came here, for generic things you most likely get an answer the same day.

Offtopic - How are NI stuff handling in Big Sur? I thinking of trying out the beta too to be more prepared when it drops.

I've had pretty much no issues. I was running in to a weird problem where Maschine would sometimes crash if I right clicked on a loaded instrument or effect and chose "Cut" instead of just loading something in over it. That appears to have been resolved, and just served to make me more vigilant about saving manually every time I make changes, lol.

Other than that, it's been smooth sailing for me ever since Beta 1. I have been using both the public and beta versions of Maschine during that time, as well as all of the other products included in Komplete 12 (now 13) UCE. Usually hosted within Maschine. I don't use Komplete Kontrol much so I can't speak to that.

We are far along enough in the beta process now that I'd be comfortable updating if you're going to be comfortable doing that on release day. There are no glaring bugs in the OS left to be squashed, that I've encountered. It will likely take NI and other companies a while to get their software officially compatible, but all my music stuff has been great.

Wish I could say the same for my Rogue Amoeba products. They sadly block Big Sur users from even launching and trying their apps.

Thanks, Captain Blasto, that's great news.
Ahhh I really like LoopBack :S
I think they usually update pretty fast after OS releases tho.

this update does NOT fix the Sustain issue where you use the sustain mode and hold a note down and it abruptly repeats afte ra short time

i dont understand why more people arnt complaining about that issue and why NI hasnt responded to my other post yet.
this is a serious issue that henders an otherwise nice set of solo instruments.
normally most of the other NI software is of very high quality ...the strings are.......i just dont understand how this issue could have happened and why it seems to be overlooked. It really NEEDS to be fixed.
but thanks for the update none the less nice to see it shows up in komplete now at least

so lets hope another patch will come for all 4 soon (TM)

Question: could this behaviour that you describe indeed be the bow change, as suggested over in the "Komplete" forums ?
If so, that is a sound you definitely want in your pieces to avoid your parts sounding eerily unrealistic.

EDIT: Ok, I fired up Stradivari Violin and really think, that is just the re-bowing. You can make sure if it is just that noise of re-bowing by testing it with the re-bowing keyswitch (I think D1 or D0 or something, the blue one) and see if it is the same noise. Another method to make sure it's not just the re-bowing would be to use the modwheel while playing. If that sound becomes more pronounced while you are playing with the modwheel up (stronger bow attack) then this is not a bug.

But now I came across something that puzzles me: When I switch on the pitch wheel on the mk3 in "virtuoso" mode, the articulation changes to a short note (staccato, I guess) and won't change back, no matter what I do (unless I reload the instrument). I admit I haven't read the manual, yet, but what is that about?
