Strange Dropout

    DAW: Sonar LE 4 (upgrading to 6 as soon as I get my damned serial
    Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
    AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core 2.2 Ghz
    8 GB ram, 500 GB hard drive


    There, got the major questions out of the way at the start.

    So, when I'm writing music in Sonar, using Akoustik, if I start playback right on a MIDI note (like, if I've quantized and a not starts right at 1:00:000 and I start playback right on that beat, too), Akoustik drops out completely and it distorts everything that hasn't dropped out during playback. I actually have to close Sonar and reopen it to fix the problem.

    If I start even 10 milliseconds before a MIDI note is called, all seems cool.

    Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a known solution?
