Strange Issue with Kontrol z2

i have a strange issue w my z2: i have timecode running through my left deck, and when i play a song (traktor button is on), if i turn my cue mix knob even slightly from 100% master, it gives me the timecode signal. short of reinstalling traktor, i've tried everything.

note: even when the gain and everything is turned to 0, i still get the timecode signal!

just tried w serato dj and same thing!

i found out it only happens when the usb is connected, and only on the left deck/inputs, the right is fine!
