Strange traktor beatgrid behaviour

    Sometimes when I analyse files the beatgrid will look like this:

    Putting a beat mark at every beat, leaving space where there are no beats in the song. But if I press the Auto button in the grid section the beat markers will change to looking like this:

    View attachment 35020

    That is... beat markers lined up in a row.

    The former beatgrid will usualy not play very well with other tracks.... so I'm a little puzzled about what's happening here. I've been trying to read online about beatgrids in Traktor but never found any info on this.

    Anyone?

    Strange, well here come the attachments again, first the strange looking beatgrid:

    The first pic. Is not analyzed.
    The second is. Auto is an analyze button.
    The first pic is typical of a track without a grid. Traktor is showing all the transients, and will not sync correctly because no grid has been set.
    Find your Traktor manual or look up beatgrid tutorial on YouTube. Also check your preferences maybe you don't have analyze when loading tracks selected?
