Dear all, Enjoy your Easter time...

Native Access nightmares of the last 3 days. Read dozens of post on forum
and internet... Followed all NI recommendation in depth days after days, I am stuffed...
If anyone can help... I would love them forever... Yes these are desperate times

    Description of the problem.

When launching Native Access, after allowing for admin rights,
the first window appears blank with the message of doom:
    "Native access has stopped working".
The Task manager shows the launch of the NA process with memory used going to
around 120 meg of ram until the crash.
Other info, I have another window machine that I use exclusively for office work and I have no
problem installing NA and logging into my account.

    Hardware and Software used

    Win 7 64 bits sp1 all updates
    intel I7 cpu
    graphic card NVIDIA GTX285
    OpenGL 3.1
    Driver Version 9.18.13.4144
    Visual C++ version 14.160.28
Native Acess version todate from NI website at the 03/04/2021

    Troubleshooting done following NI recommendations:

    1) Graphic card is above OpenGL 2.1 (ie 3.1) updated with
    Latest drivers.

    2) System integrity checked with SFC shows no problem.

    C:\Windows\system32>SFC /scannow
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
    C:\Windows\system32>

    3) Windows update up to date with all major and minor updates.

    4) Tried earlier version of NA, gave NA admin right,
    Ticked NA compatibility with win7

    5) try to use Native Acess crash solution wizard
loged in with my user password got this message:
" oops you're not authorised to this page"

    6) Below is a window log of a typical NA crash:

As you will see, It seems to happen on loading module [140].
I cannot find any info on this on the web of NI forums.

Keyword here being "Windows 7", that OS has reached the end of its support cycle for years now which means that companies no longer support it and will also not take it into account anymore with software development. Meaning that over time more and more software can (and will) become incompatible resulting in issues such as these.

It's not the answer you're looking for but my suggestion is to upgrade to Windows 10 which is fully supported.

I tried the options suggested in the link from Ian_Fu

    1) Disable the data Execution prevention filter with the dos command

    bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

Which was succesfully applied. Then rebooted. Same issue with NA

    2) searched services or programs that follow.

    MacType
    DEDgear
    AmBX,
    Razer Synapse

    Teamviewer

None are on my box. Thanks again for trying to help anyway.
    Any other idea anyone?

    Hi !
    Had the same problem :

I fixed it whit a "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistribuable package" downloaded and installed from microsoft support site on my windows 10
(i though microsoft visual C++ 2015-2019 redistribuable will works but not : probably cause it's an old file not added on last package..)

    So I just install all of them :) and it's finaly Works after reboot (2012 / 2013 / 2015-2019)

Check downloading and installing proper version X86 Vs X64 depending of your system windows and NI

Hope this would Help you and others

    Bye

Concrt140.dll utilizes the DLL document expansion, which is all the more explicitly known as a Microsoft Concurrency Runtime Library record. It is delegated a Win32 DLL (Dynamic connection library) document, made for Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 by CyberLink.

Concrt140.dll was first evolved on 07/29/2015 in the Windows 10 Operating System for Windows 10. The most recent record adaptation for CyberLink Media Suite 13 is v14.22.27810.0 worked by: vcwrkspc delivered on 07/22/2015. Concrt140.dll is incorporated with CyberLink Media Suite 13, Game Maker Studio 2 2.2.4, and Cisco VPN Client Fix for Windows 8.1 and 10 3.6.

This article talks about complete document subtleties, DLL record investigating guidelines for issues with concrt140.dll, and an exhaustive arrangement of free downloads for each record form that has been classified by our group.

Hey Folks i had a similar problem with native access getting stuck during boot with the message 'searching for the latest update' on latest win 10 2004. TCPView reports connections hanging when the program tries to connect to itself. I am in touch with support. No solutions yet. Will update if when there is one. I uninstalled pulse secure, teamviewer in case these might be causing some conflict. ni_fail_Capture.PNG nativeaccessfail2.png

i got this to work in the end with NI support. Something similar was mentioned in the post already.

    I unininstalled native access.
i installed c++ distributables from here:

"Make sure all the Redistributable packages are installed and not corrupted by running this minitool:"
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/visual_c_runtime_installer.html

I reinstalled native access. It updated itself, then appeared to hang when i opened it after the update. So i ended task and opened as administrator and then it worked.
