Suggestion for effects automation!

    Hi, could Ni fix a way to record effects on the fly better, like pressing Shift+Record? for effects, then pressing Shift+Record to disarm the record, automation for a effect On or OFF also in all sections (Master,Group,Sound)

    Hei i also found some other flaws that get me mad!
    1st WHEN I APPLY A GROUP EFFECT AND AUTOMATE THAT EFFECT TO A SCENE WHY IT APPLIES TO ALL THE SCENES AND NOT ONLY TO THAT ONE?

    2nd I WANT TO DO A DELAY EFFECT TO A END OF A SCENE TO THEN CHANGE TO ANOTHER SCENE BUT I WANT THAT EFFECT TO CONTINUE TO THE NEXT SCENE TILL IT FADE OUTS, CURRENT MASCHINE CUTS THE SOUNDS AND EFFECTS ON SCENE CHANGE.

    I cant i just select all scenes hit play and then record the effects for the whole track because i cant do that right now it doesnt seem to work.

    or simpler:they should change the "autowrite" button's behaviour to TOGGLE(meaning : press to enable recording automation,and it lights up,press when you're done recording automation and it goes dark again)

    I also would like to see some tools to draw in the automation line. like pencil, line and some curves, this would make drawing automations much more exact

    Good suggestions here.

    Drawing tools for editing automations and better autmation via the hardware controller are needed big time.

    I'm not sure how they would desyncronize the effects from the scenes but it makes more sense to apply them anywhere you want in the whole track without being limited by scenes.

    one of the main qualms i have is that when i record automation to a pattern, it gets applied to all patterns within a group..........also, when your recording automation on the fly, for some parameters especially like lfo sync rate, delay times, etc..the hardware dosn't show the change in values which makes it hard to do what you want quickly..........also, this is a must; show the values of the automation on the screen! im sure theres other thing i cant think of at the moment

    toggle for autowrite is a good idea. count me in!
    displaying the automation value could be difficult because of the limited screen amount. displaying 2 values for each knob/button could lead to space problems, but they could use a slightly smaller font for the value and underneath that a small uni- / bipolar bar to display the automation like the ring around the knobs in the software. would love to see that.

    I am trying to find out also how to copy and paste automation so that I can have all 4 bars of a loop with identical automation. Does anyone know how to? If you cant' that sucks!

    Totally agree about the automation across patters as well, that's ridiculous!
