because this is not what I would like to see.
I can see that the developers have made an attempt to bring the creative side of Ableton to the Traktor after 2010, and I am only developing these ideas further.

Ableton and Maschine 2 do not have the ability to control tracks in the same way as DJ programs, so I am sharing ideas for Traktor based on the state in which it is now.

If I were to create a dj program from zero, I would do it differently.

I speak of using Traktor together with Maschine 2/Ableton. Programs may be synchronized, have their dedicated controllers and so on.

One may put many features to program, but then they should be in ideal also accesible by HW.....

I just read this. I bought the rc505 a long time ago and Traktor was the influence that steered me to it. Here’s the video from NI. Dub fx gave input into the 505’s creation.

Also if you have the right hardware like the djms11 you can multitrack record to Ableton for example and record everything you do on that mixer as automation because everything on the mixer sends midi. A mixer like the djms11 can bridge multiple software because of the way audio is pulled from and received between the mixer and a computer.

From 2009 I was using reason to record my sets as multitrack while using Traktor. My mackie d.2pro sends audio back to the computer from 3 points on the channel strip. This allowed me to record each Traktor dvs controlled deck separately into Reason and can use reason and Traktor fx as send and return on the mixer post fader. I could play Reason sampler, record my xfader movements and even record the whole mix along side it too. Everything I do is recorded separately all at the same time in sync along with master tempo changes. Then I go over and polish everything and add more to it if needed.
