    Hi,

I's only one of my presets. it's unofficial. and i can just help you with this , it's not a official NI preset.

I do this because X.B. posted his preset directly in this tread.

    It's a minor change.

All existing presets work already fine.

But if i can help you, let's go on the fly (whith only the unofficial Concergrantpreset)

    :)

Olivier, when I receive my copy of AP I will certainly want to try your newest ConcertGrand, since pedalling has been one of my issues with sampled pianos all along (next to tuning issues, uneven timbre, and slow-to-speak notes).

Do you do any work at all on the other pianos for Native Instruments? Do they incorporate your programming into their other pianos?

It does seem to be a good idea for you guys to put things out there for us interested users, get feedback, tweak your programs, and thus make them better. When the programs have stabilized, it would be nice for Native to bless them, make them official, propagate them to the other pianos, whatever.

    Hi Olivier,

Brilliant! That varying pure<>soundboard mix sounds absolutely real my ears.
Do your changes go into the next update (I've read in a post before you were part of the developing team)?

The only thing I think which is still a bit unnatural (and so it was in the original NI-version), is that the transition from "latest possible moment the pedal is pressed to get repedalling sound" to "pedal pressed to late - silence" is too hard.

I've made mp3 to demonstrate it:
    http://www.nana-productions.de/special/AP/AP_ver1111.mp3
I've tried to get that "latest possible moment" after playing staccato notes. Now after some of them the repedalling sound is too massive (it goes like "CLANGngng....BOOOooooommm", as if a booster is switched on), after some of them there is silence, though I've tried to catch the same moment ("CLANGngng....").

I personally think, that the time span to get repedalling sound could be quite a bit longer, but of course the rp-sound itself should be much lower in volume then. Or am I used to bad dampers?

Ha, that brings me to a new idea... -> Markus, what about a "damper quality" knob on the GUI?

    Cheers, Juergen

    Hi all,

I am fine with Olivier posting current versions to this forum. they are provided as is.

when we are doing another AP update, we will work of course continue to work with Olivier, who has been taking over script development with AP 1.1. so it is without saying that all great improvements will enventually make it into the official patches.

I should also mention, though, that we are not planning any AP updates other than the Mactel version for the time being.

    best,
    Markus

    Hi Olivier,

Today I had more time to play with your version.. Wow, you alredy did improvements I planned to suggest. Like velocity=1 means no sound, and the resonance sounds of keys, that are still pressed.
    Very cool!

BTW, when I load your version, I find in the "Release Resonance" settings in the AP-GUI stuff like "OT:strong" or "RL:strong". Does anyone know what that OT and RL means?

    Cheers, Juergen

Olivier, just installed AP, upgraded to 1.1, and downloaded your ConcertGrand alpha nki from earlier in this thread. Just got to play with it for a few minutes and my impression is Nice Job! That's a nice instrument there. I like the "pedal catch", really helps in some situations where there are a lot of fast chords and pedalling.

I hope NI can keep folding in your improvements over time and encourage you to keep tweaking.

They should know that the reason I finally pulled the trigger and bought AP is because of the availability of quick improvements like your nki.

    Hi all,

we are basically missing another GUI control in AP so Olivier combined two settings in one control ;-)
