Summer of Sound sale 2020?

Are we due a Summer of Sound Sale very shortly? I’ve not bought any Native products yet, just using the demos and Start, but I’m toying with the idea of getting Komplete 12 ultimate, and very possibly an S61. Does this sale generally focus on upgrades only, or does it also include new purchases for buyers like me?

 

Wow 482 views and nobody knows anything? I gather the likelihood of a sale is pretty high on past years, but usually by now there's been a 20 page thread full of keen anticipation, wild speculation and joyful excitement .

 

My understanding is the sake can vary, and depends a little on the life cycles of Komplete and others. It’ll be exciting though!

 

Thanks Tony! I'll be looking out for a deal for sure. Hopefully there'll be an offer on an S61/Komplete12 bundle, but if it turns out to be upgrades only, I might buy the S61 separately, and then the Komplete 12 Ultimate upgrade from Select.

 

Does anyone know if the full version of Kontakt is usually part of the sale?

if you can save up buy the komplete bundles dont buy kontakt on its own.reason why im saying this is if you buy one of the komplete bundles you get loads of kontakt expansions and the price is usually not that high compared to buying kontakt on its own.

yep you need kontakt too host them..but like i said if you can hold off until the next komplete bundle youll get these bundled with it.
i have the komplete ultimate collectors edition that has basically everything except the items released after it came out..so in the next update i buy it should give me everything im missing in it so ill get noire,straylight..etc

 

I’m going to need them before then so I’ll have to either get straylight and pharlight now for £269, or get ultimate 12 and then get the ultimate 13 update with those on. Incidentally I can get an s61 and ultimate 12 upgrade For £997 at the mo but hoping for a better deal from May 28th....

 

Last few years the sale has started on the first or second Wednesday in June. So just another week or two.

I really want to get into the Kontakt system but this non-scaleable GUI is getting to me

 

I'm getting tempted by some offers on the Spitfire Audio site, so might not have much left to spend!

 

I have a few euro's stacked waiting to be spend (hopefully) on a Komplete 11 Ultimate to Komplete 12 CE upgrade.

Ready and waiting! Already bought the Straylight and Pharlight Bundle...

 

Heh.. I also got a few new goodies already. The output and cableguys bundles, Serato Sample, Arturia pigments and BC Patchwork. A bit tempted now to get the Waves Abbey Road bundle since there is no sale yet from NI.

 

I forgot to get Pigments until the day after it finished! Did get OB-Xa V at a good price, though! I’ll check those others.

 

Pigments is a really really really nice instrument. After downloading the trial from pboutique bought within half an hour (was indeed in the 50% off sale).

I also really like my new cableguys plugins, those are real fun (got them only last weekend).

Loaded an acapella in Maschine/Serato Sample and doing some filtering / tweaking / dubbing with it.

How is the OB-Xa V? I didnt bite on that one (*yet)
