support for additional music library softwares (such as songbird)

I think it would be great (and probably not so difficult) to add support for music library managers different from iTunes. I know it is the standard, and i'm using it, but i'm seriously considering to move towards Songbird.

The only reason that keeps me using iTunes is because of Traktor's compatibility, however, it is a certainly limiting software in some areas (such as FLAC support, tag fields available) and furthermore, because lately it's becoming more a media center - shop - device sync wonder - all in one controller, that has left behind the improvement of its (for me at least) main objective, that is managing music.

If it wasn't because of traktor, i would already have made the switch, considering the huge potential of it, currently covering the same functionalities of iTunes, but willing to do many more things.

As Traktor seems to just open and show the content of the iTunes library as a read only 'carbon copy', i don't see why there could not be the same functionality with other programs. It would be really useful.

And while considering songbird because it is an open source program, backed up by mozilla guys, and willing to be there for a long time, i would add to the request other library managers such as Media Monkey for pc or others that users in these community may consider for this.

Maybe a good starting point would be to conduct a poll to see what library managers is the people out there using?

By now, even many Apple users consider iTunes bloatware. It would be great to see support of leaner alternatives such as Songbird, foobar2000, or MediaMonkey.

NI, please remove dependencies of Traktor on Quicktime at the same time.
