[Support] - Komplete Kontrol Ableton VST issue, not loading

    Hi all

    So I've followed all the tutorials posted by NI as well as checked out some YouTube videos as what should happen.

    So basically I'm trying to set up my S88 for Ableton, no biggie right?
    I followed this tutorial: http://www.native-instruments.com/e...setting-up-ableton-live-for-komplete-kontrol/
    and have verified all my steps were correct.

    However when I load Ableton Live (9.5) and load up the instrument, I simply get an empty box. (See below)

    So there for I cannot access Komplete Kontrol Software from Live (works perfectly fine running the EXE itself)

    Am I missing something here? I saw the sticky that said Run in Standalone first before any DAW but I don't exactly know what that means (and no instruction was provided).

    I'm under the impression that it should appear with that XY Box like most VSTs you use with Live.

    Help would be really appreciated, I've owned this thing for a week and still having setup issues.

    Mac or PC?
    do you have a 64bit version of Ableton Live?

    running Standalone means, running the Komplete Kontrol Application outside of using it in a DAW. in fact you should do that with all of your Komplete 10 instruments

    Bah, Key details I forgot, sorry. Windows 10 x64.

    Just tried launching KK outside of live, then fired up live. Added a track with the KK Vst but still the same result, no forwardining Audio / Midi back / forth from KK & live.

    Is this a common issue?

    not on Macs but it seems a few people have had this issue with Windows.

    i suggest you contact Tech Support.
