using RMX: when i turn off a beat sequence pad the loops keeps playing. please confirm.

 

no idea, in theory i haven't touche nothing of the remix behaviour, so it shouldn't, however i'll try to confirm you tomorrow. can you check if with the original traktor qml files happens too? if it doesn't could you explain me more precisely what happens?

Okay, maybe it would be cool to check if it also happens on Traktor Pro 2.
But to be honest, i still don’t know to what do you refer...

 

you can’t turn off the step sequencer slots once you turn them on. with no steps activated it plays through the whole sample (rather than just the 1st 16 steps).

 

it happens in 2.11.3 also.

 

So Here it goes version 1.4, with a lot of small fixes and some new implementations:
#DISPLAY MODS

Track & Stem Deck MOD
FIXED: Stem Decks have been deeply revised and lots of small things have been fixed, now they are correctly implemented.
o Show FX 1-4 enabled on decks A-D --> FIXED: it only displays 2 FX units if you only use 2 FX units
o Displays Camelot Modified Key --> FIXED: it now display camelot Key correctly, without caring which format you have on Traktor (musical, musical sharp or open key)
o Display remaining time on WaveForm Stripe when DeckSize = Small

Browser MOD
o Letter on Deck in which a song is Loaded in top of the Cover Art --> FIXED: if a song is Loaded in more than one Deck, the letter will be displayed smaller and in a corner so that they are all displayed correctly over the album cover
o Display Key from the 4 Decks

Top & Bottom Info MOD
o S8 BUG FIX: Bottom Overlay Info is no longer displayed when is empty (when no RMX, no Stem, no MIDI controls, and 2 FX Units only) (ARROWS STILL ILLUMINATED)

Track Deck MOD
o Edit Mode MOD

§ Knob 1 --> Coarse Offset
§ Shift + Knob 1 --> Fine Offset
§ Knob 2 --> BPM
§ Shift + Knob 2 --> BPM Fine
§ Knob 3 --> Scan
§ Touch Knob 4 // Button 4 --> TAP

§ Screen Button 6 (right top square) --> AutoGrid (Analyze the track and detect again its BPM and Grid by Traktor’s method)

o Fine/Coarse Key adjust switched for individual track deck​

Here i post version 1.5, on which i have deleted the functionality of Shift + FX Select to keep it to implement Mixer FX selection with an overlay or something similar.
Instead, i have modified the Effects Settings through FX Select so that in there you can choose between Single or Group FX, but also if you want to use 2 or 4 FX Units! I think that it is better like this!


Appart from this, i also post a S8.tsi map which i'm using as a temporary solution for:
Selecting between the different Mixer FX (Shift + Knobs below screens and Shift + Buttons below screens load Filter directly)
When on Edit Mode, with button 6 Traktor sets AutoGrid
Hope that they are useful!

If anyone needs help to install the Mod or the .tsi file, just ask!

great additions! working 100% so far.
my only issue is the Mixer FX selction is out of physical order with the channels. i'd rather have far left encoder map to far left channel (C) rather than first channel (A) which is physically not far left but middle left.

 

This is really easy to do! You can do it from the controller manager, but if you need help i can do it in few minutes!

 

oh right! this is in the .tsi file not the QML files!!


so hey, when scrollign throgh the mixer FX i actually get 5 fx but the last doesn't do anything.
like.. there's the Filter [orange], and then for me slot 1 BRPL [red], 2 RVRB [green], 3 DTDL [blue], 4 NOISE [yellow], and then if i keep turning i get NOISE [blue]v which sound slike RVRB. FYI.

 

Yes, i know tha, but this is due to the .tsi file "temporary solution", when implemented on the qml file, there will be a limit, but right now, when you reach like mixer effect "5" (turning maximum to the right) or "-1" (turning maximum to the left), it is a little buggy i think, but that's a TP3 thing, not due to the mod or the .tsi file

 

Yesterday, during a gig i spotted an error on my Mod, which made letters over Album Covers on the browser be displayed all the time since they were loaded on a Deck, meaning that when that song was already played, and you openned again the browser, instead of a tick over it, there was the previous Deck letter displayed, and you had more than an A/B/C/D due to this, and you really couldn’t know which one was really playing and which one had been played! I’ll fix this by this weekend! All the rest was fully functional and working pretty well for me

 

HUGE UPDATE coming to the MOD probably by the end of this week, with MANY CUSTOMISABLE FEATURES, and LOTS OF NEW FEATURES! Really excited to show you what we've been working on with Nick Moon!

 

Implementing some features, here's the latest thing i've done, and which i hope that you love! NO MORE EDITING PREFS.QML FILES, edit the preferences of the MOD and some of TP3 directly from your Traktor Kontrol S8!
