    In DFD mode patches with sustained notes do a weird repeating or echo at or near where the sample ends or where the loop points are.

    What up?

    ...otherwise a great upgrade so far.

    I had that problem as well on the old version of Kontakt and no one at NI tech support had any idea when I e-mailed them. I have not had a chance to run 1.5 yet to see if it is still happening.

    mmf... In Sampler mode all is fine. Seems like I saw people with 1.2 with the same problem on this board but a search turns up nothing.

    I experienced the same problem. Switching to sampler mode made everything work as expected.

    Haven't tested it thoroughly, but I think changing the DFD options to High Performance made it better. Have to check it out again in detail.

    i think this is the same bug as i found
    see 'sample end pointer' thread
    i'm pretty sure it came with 1.5 (at least on the Mac)

    Last night I noticed that when I have a looped section in Sonar with sustained notes I also get a weird echo effect.
    It only seems to happen on certain instruments though (a chello in this instance) and it seems to cause a weird flkuctuation to the pitch too.

    I've recently migrated over to Sonar 3 so I'm still not sure if the problem is my sequencer or Kontakt 1.5.
    I'll try disabling DFD tonight to see if that works. I didn't notice this problem with Sonar 2.2 or Kontakt 1.2.1.

    I'm having the same problem with 1.5, DP 4.11. Specifically, "Trance Kit" from Synthetic Drums - once I switch back to sampler mode, all is well.

    Strangely, trying some of the Boulder Sounds instruments in DFD mode doesn't have the same problem.

    Changing parameters in DFD options doesn't help.
