Swing Per Sound - Demo Please

This sounds like it could be on of machines most attractive new features but i'd like to see how it works in a detailed video if possible. Any youtubers or NI fancy making one?

 

I don't understand the question. I'm not sure if youtube has a vid that pertains to "swing" but I can say it works really well. Is there a better example of what you'd like to know (I'm guessing you don't have maschine yet?)

 

right, agreed. I just wish I knew exactly what the op wanted. Swing is terrific, for certain.

I would if I had it widowmaker Just want to make sure it works well before I commit to the buy. Ableton has pretty extensive groove templating system so if i'm gonna move over to maschine for making beats great swing functionality is crucial

 

sorry, but you can't expect someone to spend time making a video... especially when you don;'even own Maschine

and btw, Swing Per Sound does work.

Very well I would dare say too Pete, i like the results it gives anyhow. i had no idea you didn't own Maschine so my apologies are obviously due ;-)

 

Maschines swing sounds great. However you cannot apply groove templates. You would need to export to a DAW to do this.

 

i would also like to be able to apply Groove Templates. i sometimes apply the Groove Template - in a DAW - and then record it back into Maschine.

The swing feature is pretty straight forward. I works but the only drawback is there is no way to render the swing to the pattern. All patterns on the group/sound for the whole arrangement have to use the same swing setting.

So say you want to switch the feel of the high hat or have a variation of swing latter in the song. The swing settings may not work with that pattern so you will just wind up turning the swing off all together. It works for live performance or repeating the same pattern but not in a song context with varying grooves.
