Hey everyone, I know that Symbolic Links is an Apple function and I currently use them for all my Logic Pro sound libraries pointing to an external drive. Meaning that any updates that come with new sounds for the library automatically gets sent to the Logic folder I have in an external drive using a symbolic link.

My question is will it work the same if I use symbolic links for my Native Instruments sound libraries?

I already have all my NI sound library folders moved to an external drive using symbolic links but if I purchase a new expansion pack for Maschine, will it be automatically sent to the external drive?

I would like to hear from someone who's done this already before I purchase and download new expansion packs.

You can simply just configure Native Access to install the Libraries to your external drive in the preferences.

D-ONE my bad, didn't mean to waste your time. Its been a few years since I practiced music and just getting back into it and trying figure out how I got everything set up.

I only have symlinks for Logic, when I checked Native Access I have it set up in the preferences the way you said I should do it, already done.

Again my bad and thanks for your response.
