Could it be that you need to send some CC message to get the instrument started? Try to send a value for each of the CCs used in the instrument and see if that doesn't help. I don't own this lib so this is just a general piece of advice.

I'm talking about moving the modulation wheel, pitch-wheel and relevant sliders to see if it makes a different. As I said I'm not sure it will have any effect, but it's worth a try. Btw. controller messages, or MIDI CC, is part of the MIDI standard and not specific to Kontakt.

If you might have missed it, you set wordbuilder to send MidiOut data over a range of 5 ports (per 'choir section' (that is alto, etc.)).

Then you would have to setup the 5 loaded instruments in Kontakt (ie. Alto part 1, Alto part 2, etc.) to listen to the corresponding ports; part 1 listen to the first channel for the midi stream, ie. channel 1, part 2 then listens to channel 2 and so on until channel 5.

Quite possibly, you have allready ensured this, but just in case you hadn't ;)
