Symphonic Orchestra as a Stand Alone unit...

Hey guys,.. I'm a little new to the whole VST and VSTi thing so be gental please...

I've got Symponic Orchestra Gold all loaded up and everything seemed to go fine on the install and Reg. .. I'm just having trouble getting any sound when using it as a stand alone unit ...

I've not had a chance to use it as a plugin yet (Sonar 6 PE ),..and my Midi keyboard is out on lone for a few weeks yet (Roland A80) ... but I was just wanting to make sure all of my settings are correct so when I'm ready to do some recording everything will be good to go

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Try playing things on the onscreen keyboard and see if the onscreen meters light up. If they do, then samples are being triggered. If you still don't hear anything, then something's up with your audio interface or audio connections. If that's the case, see if your interface shows that audio is arriving to it.

You have to troubleshoot it a step at a time.
