    Hi,
I couldn't find any information on this or anyone posting about this - something weird is going on with one of the presets.

Symphony Essentials - String Ensemble: String Ensemble Essential instrument doesn't play any notes associated with bass section (red) when I select spiccato articulation. Chellos, violas and violins are perfectly fine, and so are all other articulations. I tried re-downloading the library, it's still the same, and on both my Mac an PC :/

Am I missing something very obvious? Everything else plays fine, including spiccato samples in Basses Essential. I'd be greatful if anyone could enlighten me.

Confirmed. It's a bug - they definitely should play (samples are mapped down there, so...)

    Thanks for the reply.

Would it be advisable to report it anywhere, or does NI periodically update Kontakt instruments to fix this kind of issues? Never had a problem with any of NI stuff before, so not sure what to expect here.

I mean, I don't expect miracles right away with all the new OSX stuff that needs doing, but it would be a bummer if it's left as it is.

Somewhat disappointing that a year on there's still no update for it - seems to be an easy thing to fix :/

In this case it is way more complicated (including legally) since the instrument was created by a third party.
