Sync Issues

I start djing and i sync up a deck with the other, soudns easy, everything works ok. After i change to a new track, i sync up again but it doesnt sync. It says the bpm is the same but it is obviously not running at the displayed BPM. I looked at the master clock setting and it is set to automatic.

Why is it only working some of the time? Sometimes the half sync button shows up on the master deck and sometimes it doesnt. Then, sometimes i click sync on the new track i loaded and it doesnt light up, then again sometimes it does. This is frustrating because in the middle of a set, i have wacky bpms, even though it says they are 128.00 for example. But this doesnt happen all the time. Any ideas?

 

Yes, is your issues, not sync, learn beatmatching, track bpm,beatgrid etc, but before read the manual.

hey sick, i know how to beatmatch, know track bpms, and i read the manual. Thanks for being condescending, i hope you really meant to help, not insult. I am trying to get my wife into DJing and she doesnt like using the turntables, she like the software and X1.

Lethal- Thanks for the helping hand, i will check the gridding and let you know, it seems the grids are ok on most of my tracks, ill check the newer ones i got to see whats going on, i think i have narrowed it down to at least the tracks i picked up most recently.

Is it possible i set the beat gridding and then it goes back to what it was and didnt keep the changes?

 

It shouldn't happen, no. I always lock the track when I've set the beatgrid. I've set Alt+L as a shortcut to do this.

 

found the issue, i wasnt locking the grid afterwards. I fixed it, and Lethal, thanks a million for your help.
