sync with cdj's

I use a laptop with an Xponent midi controller now using Traktor. I was thinking about buying Native Instruments new midi controller and using it with a set of CDJ's and a Pioneer 800 mixer. If you use Traktor with control CD's are you able to use beatgrids and the sync function?

 

yes to both.

in timecode mode you cannot sync-lock tracks but sync them momentary so the tempo and phase gets matched momentary.

 

If you use timecode CDs you will need to purchase Traktor Scratch Pro or Duo

 

Do you pitch bend with the jog wheels on the pioneers to keep tracks on beat after the sych button has been pressed?

I wondered about that, to sync lock my tracks, I havent been able to do that, aint it possible? When I load a track using the audio 8 Traktor Scratch Pro with 2 cdjs 400...Pioneer..While say Deck A play a track, I load a track to Deck B and cannot see the bpm if I dont start the track,

Is there anyway to to see the tracks bpm and synch will the track is on hold, On internal mode it works when I have middimapped my mixer.
