    Hi,

Just wanted to share some exciting experience - me an my friend managed to sync to traktors pro over ethernet network. All you need is this little app o both computers (we used mbpros) to convert midi signal to ethernet signal and vice versa:
    http://www.nerds.de/en/download.html

For those who havent tries here's a little tip:
connect both computers with ethernet cable (just plug one end of the cable into one computer and the other one into other - this worked for us). Start traktor, go to settings - > Midi setup. Select ipMidi if it's not selected. And set "Send midi clock" on one of the computer (in our case it worked only for the one of us so just play around a bit). Now the only thing left is press play/pause button on master computer.

The result is a bit fluctuating but it's no big deal - still possible to play/mix.

I'm also wondering if it's possible to do the same via airport/wireless?

This sounds pretty cool. Would it work with something else? Say Reason? I have been trying to sync Traktor with Reason with Ableton with my TB-303 all on the same computer, but always end up scratching my head. I wonder if it would be easier with two computers! Has anyone else tried anything like this? Did it work?

btw .. you can also network over firewire. this is actually a very high performance solution to get a point to point ethernet connection.
