    Hi,
here is a track I entirely composed, arranged & mixed through Maschine + Komplete 10 + KK 61.
    For the 80s lovers :)
    What do you think?

Really good stuff bro! I produce vaporwave, kinda similar but worse quality and way slower :D Really nice to see someone doing something different here <3

What synths did you use? I do most of my stuff in Massive and Ableton's Analog plus a lot of filters and downsampling. I went crazy when I saw that retro maschines mk2 is included in Maschine but was kinda disappointed, the synths in there sounded too good :/

    Thank you guys !
I'm using Massive for the bass ("Bubblegum" preset, comes from Neon Drive expansion. I love this preset), rest of them are from Retro Machines actually. It really mimics this 80 sounds I like. I recently purchased Arturia V Collection with the NI NKS offer they did a few weeks ago. And since then, I've been moving to Jupiter 8 as my main synth. It sounds great and gives more options compared to Retro Machines which are sampled instruments.

Here is the very last track I produced. But it's not something I came up with Maschine because now I'm trying to directly use Ableton. I find it hard to mix my tracks in Maschine, especially because EQ capabilities are very poor in my opinion (unless you rely on ext. EQ) + I like the return tracks in Ableton, it really gives more options. I also tried to compose with Maschine then mix inside of Ableton but that's painful. Exporting audio prevents you from further editions but using Maschine as a VST is CPU expensive in my setup... and I'm not even talking about automations :)
    Anyway, here it is.

Man you're so right about the returns, I usually have 3-5 but in my vapor tracks it's easily adding up to 10 + external effects routed through some guitar pedals. And yes it's painful to make that kinda thing in Maschine, Ableton=master race.

Bro you should text the producers of Kung Fury if they wanted to use one of your tracks (best promo I guess). I listen to synthwave a lot and I think this is some real quality material you got there, keep it up!

Just one thing: maybe you want to make some synth a bit more "muddy", they sound quite sharp I think. I am always going for that cassette-atmosphere (ofc not really comparable to synthwave) but maybe a tiny little bit

You're absolutely right about adding muddiness, I'll try it on future tracks. I'm still in progress, thank you :)

Haven't finished much yet, planning to release some stuff in 2016 (probably it's become mainstream then lol). But I will defo hit you up as soon as I uploaded something. Maybe we can collab on something as the genres are somewhat related.

Looking forward to hearing more good tracks from you bro!
