just a quick question. On the website it says the system requirements are either a 2.4Ghz intel P4 or a intel core duo or an AMD Athlon 64.

I have an AMD Athlon 64 1.6Ghz. Should this be ok since there is no minimum speed list for the core duo and athlon 64 cards? I already have the traktor pro 2 demo running and I dont see any problems so far.

I also have 3GB of ram and I'm going to bump it up to 4GB soon so I'm sure that will help out quite a bit.

If the demo works for what you are doing right now it's fine, but if you are going to use several effects decks and keylock the cpu will certainly be the first bottleneck

My laptop has 2x1.3 GHz and it works fine with my rather simple style of DJing (with timecode) but I don't know how much the second core comes into play there

I was wondering the same, i have cpu overload problems and suspect it is my laptop, it has an intel core duo 2 1500ghz clock and 2.5 gbram on vista......does anyone know if this is sufficient?

I have a Toughbook with an Intel Core Duo 1.8GHz and it works just fine me with timecode. I do have 4GBs of RAM tho which helps a lot.

Version 2.0.2 fixed a lot of CPU issues so if you are still on 2.0.1 at least upgrade to that.
