I am having a problem with recording from the TapeDeck.

Whenever I have a preset on and play something, I can hear the preset effect in Guitar Rig 2. When I record it on the TapeDeck and I play it back on the tapedeck, I can hear the preset effect. However, when I export what I recorded to a .wav file and I play it back in a different program (For example, Adobe Audition), I can't hear the preset effect.

Here's an example, This was set to the "Dream Acoustic" preset. But it just sounds like a bare-bones set-up.

Anybody know what the problem is and how I can fix it? I am looking to record some stuff and I just can't seem to figure this out.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi ktull88
Sounds like you are recording on Deck 1 but monitoring through Guitar Rig. Basically you are recording the clean sound and then re-amping it. If you want to record the effected tone use Tape Deck two to record.
If the sound is playing as you expect on Tape deck one does it change when you switch between 'play at input' and 'play at output'? That's the giveaway.

Yes it is. When I select "Play At Output" it only plays in the left channel.

Like I say, record in Tape Deck two as this will the sound that appears at the output of the Rig. Tape Deck one will only record your pure tone. Take your original MP3 and play it from tape one, through Drea, Acoustic ans then re-record it on Tape Deck Two.
