Starting to see a few more people post with the same issue asking about the warranty process and the noisy keys.

in fact most of the s88 mk2 owners have reported the issue....I've only seen a handfull who have not...
The thousands comments on youtube and reddit are about this issue...
The paid youtubers review are with a new keyboard...

there are only 2 related to the S88 on YouTube, one is mine. The rest are for the lower models and is related to the light guide, dead keys or velocity strip. All related to dirt or dust in side under the membrane. Easy fix, some alcohol and a q-tip.

I am on the Reddit also, and again I haven’t seen that many for the S88. Yes the other models (non weighted). But not in the thousands???

just google "s88 mk2 issue noise" and you find thousands complainers.

edit: And I want to play soft and hard way...it should be a top quality for the price.
I will wait for few months and if I have the issue it means all have the issue. I will sell it.

It’s all you can do now. Wish you luck with it. Look forward to hearing how it goes. If it does go bad then you have a case for a refund rather than a replacement.

For anyone who is interested, I have come across a pretty descent Teardown Video on YouTube. Shows they guy opening up the keybed, removing it, re-greasing the keys, this i will be attempting my self pretty soon..

I could not agree more regarding a guide on how to fix it. I would not attempt it myself but the retailor where I bought it says that NI will not provide any guide on how to fix it. It is out of warranty. I would have to send it to Texas from Canada as opposed to a 5 minute car ride to the retailor. Would likely not get my keyboard back. The keyboard is becoming unusable due to the key noise. BTW - Right beside the S88 is a 20 year old Yamaha P120 with no issues. It is just not a great midi controller but more a digital piano.
