    Dear all,

Like everyone else I'm experiencing these 'clicks' and 'pops'.
The weird thing is, when I play with the timecoded CD's, it always skips so it screws up my whole mixing.. I had this from day 1 (bought it this weekend).

So I have the bad sounds + the skip part.

    I'm using 2 Pioneer CDJ1000MK2's with a Pioneer DJM 600.

I have the Audio 8 connected to my laptop (Asus laptop with dual core and 2 gig ram)

dno if someone has the same problem as me.

I've uploaded a screenshot of the UI

what is your setting on audio 8? Have you set it to Timecode CD ?
Do you have your Mastertempo on your CDJs DISABLED?

It's disabled(rarely use it) and the Audio 8 is in CONTROL CD/LINE - mode which is the right setup.

as for the sample rate, its on 48000 Hz. USB buffersize 1 ms, Audiobuffersize 6ms

Do you have your timestretching set to ECO - this is the best setting for TSPro 1.1.2?

Edit - that will effect your popping/clicking - not the skipping

Do you recalibrate your CDs at the start of every session and when changing to normal CDs?

I remember that somebody wrote in forum that the output level of some cd player seems to be too high and that lowering the signal may help.
He remastered the timecode cd with a lower level.
Maybe you can simulate this for testing purpose:
connect traktor time code input to the record output of your mixer.
Then put timecode cd in your regular connected cdj and regulate the volume via channel fader(turn speakers off :) )
Is there any change in timecode display (press reset every time)?

It is in the prefs somewhere - don't have Traktor in front of me at the moment.

So yeah, recalibrate your decks to in Traktor.

The other 2 times I had skipping issues was when:

    a) my laptop was set to 'power saver'
    b) I had an SD card in my SD card slot (I've since disabled every driver I don't use)

Yea recalibrate when I start a new session, In the beginning it's ok but after 20 secs it occurs and it's like a second that it displays 'skips CD' , after that it's ok for a few secs and then it occurs again... result, when you mix it just screws it up when you try to beatmatch

Ok I will try that ^^

It was already in ECO I noticed.

My laptop is on high performance-mode so I assume there is no "power saver"

    no SD cards
