Hey guys. So I just bought maschine and I honestly have no idea how to hook it up. I have 2 studio monitors right now connected to my rane 62. Is there a way to connect maschine so I can use the same studio monitors. Say using it at the same time a record is playing just to come out the same speakers.
    Thanks for the help!

Should be pretty much as simple as choosing the Rane as your soundcard in Maschine software settings.

Maschine is just a controller. It doesn't ever get connected to any speakers of any kind.

Have you read the getting started manual? There should be a section on configuring Maschine with a sound card (in your case it should be your Rane 62).

I apologize my wording is terrible and I don't think even I knew what I was writing.
I have a 2 channel interface. A rane 62. And serato dj. Plus 2 technics. And 2 studio monitors. If i wanted to hit a drum kick on top of a scratch lets say. How do i need to set that up

I don't have any experience with the Rane or Serato but, it looks like you have a lot of options with the gear you have. As far as triggering samples, you can do it through Serato's sample player (Maschine as MIDI controller in Serato) or through the Maschine software. Either way, it seems to me the simplest routing method would be through the internal Aux channel on the Rane. Page 15 in the manual explains how to use this channel for the sample player; It would be similar for Maschine standalone. In Maschine software, open the Audio/MIDI settings and choose the audio tab. Choose the Sixty Two as your device and go to the routing tab. In the outputs section, for Maschine Out 1 L/R (main output), choose Rane channels 5/6 (stereo Aux input). You should now have volume and filter control on the left side of your mixer. Hope this helps!
