This is PC and Mac related. Traktor Pro 3.5.0 269 has Tempo Bend Progressive Sensitivity deactivated by default. And the same applies to 3 last beta versions.

This option should be activated by default, otherwise the tempo bend buttons won't work.

User need to open preferences --> Transport --> Tempo Bend and enable this option by themselves which is unnecessary step.

    Cheers,

Hi Stevan - "Tempo Bend Progressive Sensitivity" has always been off by default in TRAKTOR.
In this mode, the Tempo Bend buttons work by applying a constant tempo offset (+ or -) as long as the button is pressed.
The progressive mode, where the tempo offset would increase over time, the longer you press, has never been the default and also is not industry standard.
Some users / mappings have used the progressive mode to simulate a turntable platter motor off effect. Maybe this is what you are referring to, when you say, that the buttons don't work.

Do you want to say, that by updating to 3.5.0.269 your previous setting of this option has been reset to the default off state?
If that's the case, are you sure, that you haven't run the Setup Wizard in the meantime, which has the effect to reset all options to default?

    Hi Friedemann,

I don't remember that I had to enable this after each update though. But yeah, if I disable the "Tempo Bend Progressive Sensitivity" the tempo bend buttons are not working at all here. I did not run a Wizard just installed 269 and noticed this immediately.

Check this: play the same track in both decks, A is MASTER, B is SYNCed.
Now press the Tempo Bend buttons on Deck B.
I see the phase meter of deck B moving - what happens on your computer?

What happens on my computer is exactly what I described previously (Mac and PC). Here is a quick video for the reference:

It seems that you're somehow in "BeatSync" mode but your preference menu shows "TempoSync" mode and somehow you still have Tempo bends accessible.
Could you try to go in Transport > "BeatSync mode" then go back in "TempoSync" mode to see if it helps ?

Sorry to not mention, I already tried switching between the two Beat and Tempo sync. The result is the same.

Any response if you try this :
    - Disable "Tempo bend progressive sensitivity"
    - Set sensitivity to 200%
    - Load a track in deck A
    - Don't press play
    - Play with the pitch bend buttons.

On my computer, doing this leads to navigate slowly in the track.

If I disable "Tempo Bend Progressive Sensitivity" the tempo bend buttons stops working in any other scenario. It acts as an on/off switch basically.

I have the same behavior with mac mini and PC both desktops and Xone 96 ASIO external mixing mode. However when I tested this just now on my laptop (also Windows 10 but K2 ASIO) these is no such problems.

I'll connect 96 to my laptop and give it a test. Maybe it is related to Xone 96 (which I already find very problematic with Traktor)

I just tested and this issue is not at all possible to duplicate on my laptop. Only my two desktops have this issue.
