I recently just bought Traktor Scratch Pro 2 and Audio 10. I just updated to TSP2.01 last night hoping to fix the sync problem. I loaded tracks into decks a&b, play and they tempo goes crazy. It seems like its scanning through the tracks.

Master clock is at 126, tempo is normal, but problem still remains.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Tommy,

    Welcome to the forum.

Please give us more details of your issues.

    What sync problem?

Yes TSP2 is scanning your tracks - nothing to do with any problems.

Set Stable-BPM in your deck view. The higher accuracy of TSP2 is too much for some to handle.

Does the BPM flicker? Follow the advice in any of the other threads

With TSP2.0 I was having an issue with creating loops and having the phase synce once I dropped them into my sample decks. The loops wouldn't phase sync with the master track. I tried all the options in this forum. I was told that the TSP2.01 update would fix my problem.

I have no idea what tempo flicker is. Nor does this relate to my tempo being shot in both decks.

Here is my problem: I updated TSP2 to the TSP2.01. I reloaded the program. Now if I load ANY TRACK, IN EITHER DECK (A or B), the tempo is tweaked at max. The pitch is at neutral, master clock is at 126.

If I load a vocal... It sounds like the chipmunks are singing (both decks)
If I load a track.... It sounds like 170 bpm (both decks).

    Basically TSP2 has become useless.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. If I can't fix this by Friday I am going back to CD binder to gig. Any suggestions?

Sorry dude, that wasn't obvious from your first post. What soundcard are you using? What is your Master clock set to?

    Master clock set at 126

^^ He's using the Audio 10 DJ and the mater clock is set at 126 BPMs.

Just to be sure, by Master Clock, do you mean the BPMs that is on the top left of the screen, where FX1 would be?

Does internal-play, play at the correct speed? I'm assuming you're using CD timecode and not vinyl.

After upgrading; I went into Traktor to test the loop sync issue I mentioned before. I haven't tested this in timecode (external mode) yet. That's a lot of equipment to setup and find Traktor works in timecode mode only!

Engine 77, yes the master clock (top left hand side) is at 126

    How do I change that?

After reinstalling the upgrade again I've noticed that the Demo Loops, Demo One-Shots & Scratch Sample shortcuts are now red with an "x" in them.

These are the only changes... besides the obvious problem with the tempo going crazy.

On the CDJ. The CDJ's keylock. Probably not that though thinking about it

Is the tempo jumping all over the place then or just being very quick?

The tempo is being very quick. I can uninstall and go back to TSP2 and everything is fine.

Don't suppose you can post a screenshot of the deck playing with all the mixer elements, the tempo fader and the master panel in view could ya?

I got exactly the same problem here. I have TSP2 and a Macbook Pro, only tried to play without using any timecode control hardware. (internal). I tried to change almost every setting, without any results.

Hey man, what is the problem? Is track A playing really quickly?

Tommy D described the problem quite clear:

I reloaded the program. Now if I load ANY TRACK, IN EITHER DECK (A or B), the tempo is tweaked at max. The pitch is at neutral, master clock is at 126.

If I load a vocal... It sounds like the chipmunks are singing (both decks)
