I'm trying to use a couple of guitar strumming products in Komplete Control, Picked Nylon & Strummed Acoustic. I was under the impression that when you trigger one of the strumming patterns that it would follow the song tempo from StudioOne without any particular intervention on my part. Neither guitar product is following the tempo in the song. The strum patterns always play at 120 regardless of the tempo I set in the StudioOne transport.

It doesn't matter if I trigger the pattern from a keyboard, or if I play a pattern in the pattern editor, or if I audition the sample sound in the browser, it always plays at 120.

Am I expecting the wrong behavior? Should I be forcing a tempo change to make it sync up with the song? I could not see a way to do that

    Hey there,
Check that Konatkt is synced to your host. For that you need to open the "Master" browser and make sure that "ext" is on, like here:

Thank you. I'm including a screenshot of how it looks on my screen.

I think it isn't working correctly.

    SOLVED [for now]

I found a temporary work-around. The problem is that Native Instruments is not completely Native (ironic, eh?) on Apple Silicon M1, which I have as my Mac Air 2020 CPU.

The solution is that I had to configure the StudioOne application to run as a "Rosetta" application. StudioOne does not need Rosetta, but the plugins do need Rosetta. Instructions for configuring an application to run with Rosetta are here.

Hey Ustamills, my bad, I should have checked this with you as soon as I had read you had a M1 computer. Since more and more DAWs are now supporting M1 natively, it is important to make sure to run them in Rosetta mode for using our plug-ins.
