    Hello guys,

Is it possible to have played effects stay at the tempo of a stopped song and by that not follow the tempo of the new one?

Can I only do it by switching of the "auto" function of the master clock?

A stopped song has a tempo of zero

Wrong, the echo of the song that you just stopped keeps going for a while, depending on the settings according to the tempo it had when it was enabled. However, if you stop the song you took the echo from and start a track with a completely different BPM the echo suddenly changes in tempo as well.

The only way to prevent this from happening is making sure you don't use the sync buttons.

yes, use the master clock as reference. the FX always follow the master, whatever that is - the clock or one of the decks! and since a stopped deck cannot be master...
