I'm running Kontakt with Pro Tools 5.1.3 TDM through Direct Connect.
I can't get the 'Flexible Envelope' to be in 'tempo-sync' with Pro Tools.
    - The 'tempo-sync' is active.
    - In the Pro Tools 'Midi Beat Clock' menu, do I have to enable 'Kontakt' so that Kontakt gets sync? I tried this which didn't work. One time it sort of worked - the 'Flexible envelope' loop started playing at a fast tempo then slowed to a constant tempo, but not the tempo on the sequencer.
    - I enabled 'Retrigger' in Kontakt & this didn't help.

I've had this problem since day 1 with the exact same setup. This was such a major bummer for me, that I stopped using Kontact for that kind of work. Now I just use Kontakt for basic sample playback. I haven't had time to check to see if it was fixed. Looks like it hasn't. When I spoke to tech support (several times), they were reluctant to acknowledge the problem. I did get one person to admit that it was a known issue, but never heard anything else. I'm hoping Mach 5 is less flakey.

I don't find Kontakt's Tempo-sync functions to work very well, no matter what the platform. The delay is all messed up; it'll display "1/4" notes, but what you hear is like, 16th dotted - and then when you re-open your song, the settings are not recalled. I find the LFO's to be off-time as well.

So I don't bother with Kontakt's tempo-sync stuff either. Not one of my #1 requirements, though.

I'm finding this to be a major pain. In fact, it sucks! Reason's sampler does this better. Even my ancient EMU sampler could sync the LFO's. Wish I hadn't sold it. I feel like I want my money back - like that'll ever happen! Several emails to tech support , and still no reply. Is this even a real company?!
