I can't get Kontakt Mac to sync the LFO's to incoming midi beat clock. I've tried on 4 different ProTools rigs with no luck. Anyone else have this problem?

Already tried clicking on the HZ and selected the beat measure for syncing?

I am not at my PC right now so this is based upon memory.

The fader where you determine the LFO speed can either be controlled in Hz, i.e. number of cycles per second, or by locking the speed to the midi tempo. You select this by clicking on the fader or in the value field, I don't remember which, and holding the mouse button down for a moment. When you choose the tempo sync you can select different values like once per measure or 32 triplets or whatever.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    Soren

Yeah, I know how to do it. It just won't sync. It seems to be getting "some" midi beat clock info, as the speed changes while it's engaged - it's just not the right speed. It races ahead, then slows down, then races... I've tried 4 different G4's with ProTools. Has ANYONE gotten this feature to work properly on a Mac?

Tech support emailed me and said it was a known bug. I hope it gets fixed soon. I'm suprised no one else is squaking about this one.

I had the same problem on a PC with Cubase. I could set it to whatever, but it had no effect. I came back the next day and it worked great, I dunno why. My theory is:

NI Checked my user name, looked up my registration and got my address and then broke into my house at night and fixed my PC.

I find Kontakt's BPM timing is crap - I don't know what it's timing to, but when you select Eigth Note, say, it doesn't remotely keep in time with the project tempo.

The Delay BPM works, though. Too bad there aren't any 'dotted' BPM selections.
