    Hey guys whats up...

    I want to sample a song and the bit i got to sample is a bit fast so i want to slow the sample down not the actual beat.

    Can someone please share some light

    You need a DAW with the capability for time warping/streching.
    Most standard DAW's have that capability.
    Youtube timewarp. Maschine 1.6 will have the ability to timewarp.

    I use ableton live lite, reaper and fl studios.
    Reaper is free and they have great forum support you can choose to pay for it if you like it.

    just to clarify some nomenclature, slowing the sample down IS slowing the beat down unless you are talking about pitch.

    but yes you need a time stretching app, if you want a hack way to do it, download the ableton demo, stretch your loop and either wiretap it or if memory serves ableton dumps the processed audio in a folder somewhere you could grab the stretched file from. i believe the demo version of audiofinder will do some basic stretching as well, as well as pretty much all major DAW's.

    not sure what the demo limitations are for ableton, so i can't give you a 100% confirmation on that.
