Well here is the break down so far.

Out the box there are no mappings for traktor, but if you have used traktor you know that you would not want anybodies mapping anyway.
    1. You must install the VDJ to get all the firmware updates and sound drivers if you don't do this your gonna have issues period.

    2. You will need to wipe all TSI Crap from it's list in TP's pref list.
    3. Download the current TSI file from AA to build off if nothing else it has the basics.
    4. in front of the unit (4out 8out) use the 8 out and select it in traktor the 4 out is
low compared to the 8 out. It will show up in your TP pref for audio.
    5. Traktor will set the latency but you will need to play with it to get it correct.

GOOD: solid unit will last and take a beating, plenty of knobs, and sliders, feels great.
BAD: Crossfade curve not for scratching, mic issues, low headphone monitor issues, slow mouse pad, no dual platter mapping, and could be some ground issues. I am getting recording issues with digital random distortions.

After 10 days I have 2 decks completely mapped, and 4 decks @ 80% I also have 2 Radius 1000's mapped to work from the VMS4. Easy to control lights just have to watch for conflicts in mapping. Still have not found a good use for the two touch sliders. Hope to have the recording issue fixed soon so i can finish my 4 deck mapping.

Did you also notice that the input fader knob are so close of the chassis that they scratch the gloss of the paint? I saw one last week like that... at it's first day in the showroom... kinda sad.

I'm having one or two issues mapping the VMS4's LEDs. I want to be able to take advantage of using different coloured LEDs for the hot-cues. For instance, if I load a track that has two hot-cues stored I want the two corresponding hot-cue buttons to illuminate in red. I want empty hot-cues to illuminate blue. Is this possible?

    quick example

    1. map a hot cue with the (add in) in the control manager.
    2. map the LED with (add out) for the same hot cue's address this will activate it when you use the button, you can also change the LED;s functions there as well. Colors, blink, and so on.

Its the parameter to change the colour that I can't figure out, I've tried fiddling with all kinds of numbers in the controller range settings but the LEDs continue to light up red! Anybody managed to change theirs?

Mine only change when used for more than 1 modifier. Im sure it can be done because with VDJ they are Blue pink red when you turn on the VMS4 if you still have that disc i would look at the settings maybe can give you some direction.

I've had a look at the VDJ settings and can't find anything to do with midi-out, only midi-in mappings. I've popped a post up on the DJTT forums too as there are a few walk-throughs on there about changing LED colours on other controllers!

Experimenting yesterday I ended up with one loop button coming on in blue (deck A). When I duplicated the output and assigned it to deck B the other loop button stayed red...
