Yeah, but vst's are different. Why have the maschine studio/mpc ren and four different DAW's? For different projects or?

 

This is an MPC Touch thread. Create a thread specifically for the MPC Ren and ask the questions. I will answer them immediately if you do this promptly.

Also, you can send me a private message and I will answer your questions. No one wants to read us going back and forth about unrelated stuff.

 

So you don't know the answers or how to do it. That's fine... Let's see how the touch does on the open market!

 

I do know the answers. This is why I said create a dedicated thread or send me a pm and I will provide the answers.

I personally don't care how the Touch does on the open market. I am going to get one. Just like I will buy a Maschine MK3.

 

That's cool. You never answer the do you make music questions or what kind of genre you produce, but that's cool if your a gear collector only.

1, I think you can browse vst presets from the Mpc easier than maschine , it's a feature , you've had to save all yours in maschine as sounds ?
2. Again u can layer sounds in the Mpc pretty easily ,drag and drop ,etc
3.not used battery in Mpc

4.this one baffles me , as I keep seeing you mention this , but FYI the Mpc has scales and chords , but I don't get where your going with this , if you want to find the key of a sample , you would first need to know the key before you picked "the scale ", so using the chromatic scale (all the keys) would suffice or u could use your ear.
Also I love the kontrol keyboard too and the scale feature , as I'm not a taught musician, but FYI all them features only really touch the surface in music theory and in some respect can be a bit misleading if you don't follow it up with other information.
My mate plays guitar ,taught himself ,plays in a few bands , doesn't do music theory , like I've tried to attack him for information and asked him to explain things I've read ,and he ain't got a clue , but give him any piece of music and he can play it , the best thing to do is to learn to play some songs , your see then ,

6 , not every body needs to be spoon feed , expansions are good and that ,but I've never brought any

Since you think Reaon is garbage put up a beat YOU made don't talk about other people and I will put up mines, what you wanna do Pop? Dance Hall? HipHop? Trap/HH? RnB? You're talking to the wrong dude, you can use samples in Reason and you can sample directly into Reason and Reason been had this capability Record, 6 and beyond does this. You can record instruments into Reason, vocals, and samples into Reason. Take a turn table hook it up to the interface and open up audio track in Reason and set it up to receive audio. Heck are you talking about.

Yes but your conversations go the same way with him quite often, a new thread like he suggested will give you a chance to just have it out and get all your questions answered. No harm no foul no diverting the current thread, sorry like I just did. I'm done back to the touch it is interesting to see what others know of it.

 

He tried the mpc touch/mpc ren. I asked what the workflow differences was like between that and maschine. Not really hard to understand.
