how many more controllers are left in the set M-chop?

 

Spoke to two different techs within the past couple weeks at the LA office. I asked if anything cool was coming out. What I was told by both is they are getting ready for 2016. When you look at what NI has released this year it makes sense.

 

All I know is that they better have modes in this new update, lol

 

Hoping Akai makes a "white" version of the Touch.

The all black design looks nice, but the option would be nice. Or even a throwback design with the old school "grey" MPC 2000 color scheme.

 

Or in other words they didn't say 'we aren't going to release stuff this year' or 'we will have way more NI product releases (than AKAI?) in 2016 for sure'.

They said they are releasing 'stuff' next year. So that comes as a huge shock to me

 

Or in other words I won't buy anything akai and browse the NI forums everyday to see what they come out with lol. You will see it for sure.

 

I purchased studiolinked vst's chord set. Use it with the free kontakt player. I think you would like that. I don't use it like I thought I would.

 

the feng shui is on point; cos the mpc60 and the mpc3000 both have pads on the left and those units are classics; u need to learn to adapt.

No. Not at all. I have a Mk2, and a Studio. I also bought my nephew a Mk2.

 

I still have an ASR10, but it needs service. I never put my Maschine on sale.

 

You must have me confused with someone else. Maschine is at the center of everything that I do now. Maschine and Live are really all I use.

 

Killing time waiting for a product that you may not see for 1 year or longer? Why not just use your mk2? And what makes you think a controller that you have never seen will improve your workflow/music?

Mk 3 will be better than the touch. Now users want to buy the S88 and return the akai keyboards lol.

 

Ok. Got it. The only that is important is there are obviously products available today that you can use as opposed to waiting for something that may or may not come.

 

It is not that easy, people usually thinks other people situations are similar to own. I already waited long time without being able to create music. And there are other reasons in life to do or not do something in addition to money or time.

TLDR: Don't try judge what others do with your own criteria.
