Recording a mix, on my third track mixed it and the mix is pretty nice and the crossfader fully to the left so I know there are no artifacts of the other deck involved. When I play back the mix or write it to WAV the file jumps at a certain point.

Theres obviousky some kind of defect in the recording which I can't dub out. Not a problem I thought, I'll use the cut tool to chop the tune up before it gets to the jump and then I'll just let Traktor re-record the bit I want and carry on my mix. Nope! Can't do that because Traktor wants to make the cut point the START of my mix.

Surely there must be a way to get rid of a bit of recording and go back a chunk. I'm not asking to play with the playing of the songs, EQ or crossfader settings (which I obviously could do with the dub!), I just wanna start recording from a couple of seconds back. Is this possible!? Please say it is!

I stumbled over that myself quite a few times. I've never quite figured out the cut tool (even *with* the manual, thanks :D), but what you want you can do with the record button.

Play your mix until, say, 10 seconds before the glitch. Then just press record and go from there.

I hope this does what you want. There also is an annoying bug, that after jumping around in the mix a lot (ffwd, rew) and then pressing record will have one of the track sjump back to beginning. This doesn't happen, when you press/unpress "play mix" once or twice before recording.

All of this of course means that you'll have to redo all following tracks. I wouldn't mind if NI could find a solution for that in a future version.

    Hope this helps, Cheers, h00la
