    Hi,

I'm running Cubase SX3.1 on a P2.5 with 1.75g ram, a couple of Raptor drives and a Hammerfall soundcard.

I have a number of Powered by NI libraries. EWQLSO Platinum and Silver, Stormdrum, Percussive Adventures 2

So, I'm working on some rerecordings of some old 1996 Cubase files. But I'm getting a problem with some libraries.

Whilst they load fine into a default cubase song, when I start working on something properly after a while, perhaps the next day when loading the track in, I get this error from some of the libraries - it can be a different library in a different song...

"The DFD extension currently installed does not match your program version. Please get a DFD extension V1.2.9 or upgrade the product"...

I've made sure I have the latest software, and the latest DFD dll, but sometimes it just doesn't work. If I clear the song, create a new one, the library will then load in again.

Anyone else getting this? Help please NI, I'm wasting so much time trying to solve this.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Can NI offer no help with this problem?

Well, thanks to a user on the cubase forums, this problem is now solved. I had to innitial the 3gb memory switch in boot.ini and now there are no problems. Didn't think about this, since my machine only has 1.75gb memory anyway...
