    Hi

    Can someone please tell me what the symbol resembling an eye means in the Preferences lists?

    I thought it meant that each section with an eye symbol could be customised seperately for each layout but it does not work for Preferences->Decks->Deck Heading for example?

    Thanks
    Steve

    The "eye" symbol means what you can see on your deck layout. You can change the deck layout to:

    Micrro
    Small
    Essential
    Full
    Advanced

    with all four decks (not sample decks). Now with sample decks you can only change it to;

    Micro
    Small

    This is correct.

    Having all these settings in one section marked with the eye is an "optical bug".
    It would be better to divide the Deck Heading section into two sections:
    - the setting of the three checkboxes is stored with the layout (should have the eye icon)
    - the track info in the deck header is global, i.e. not stored with the layout (should have no eye icon).

    Something similiar can be seen on Preferences/Decks Layout/Adanved tabs. Here the eye icon is missing as the last opened advanced tab for each deck is stored with the layout.
