    Hi everyone

Whenever I use The Giant sample library, the first midi note that gets triggered always plays back too loudly, creating a popping effect. All the following midi notes play back normally however.

Even when the velocities are all the same, and the mod, expression, volume, sustain, etc are the same throughout and start before the first note is triggered, the first note still plays back loudly.

When I bounce the project, the louder note gets bounced as well.

To work around this, I've had to add an extra note to The Giant track before where I want the actual notes to start, render the track in the project, and trim the accented note audio away. This is very tedious, especially if I need to change something in the Giant track after I've already rendered it to audio.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before and know how to solve it?

    Thanks in advance!
    Dylan

Since this was never answered and due to the fact that I have the exact same problem I would like to push this question up again.

In Reaktor we use a fade in like Brett uses in Bloodlines Racks.
To avoid a loud first sound - often in drones.

Is there a fade-in at Kontakt or at your midi file player / midi keyboard?
