The mixer high, mid, and lows don't have a full kill feature?

The way my mixer is, I am going to have to use TSPs mixer to control my songs... but theres no full kill feature...

Or am I wrong?

 

There is. Click the "blue light" by the fader and you get full kill for the selected band ... the rotaries only go down to something in the range of -26dB (which is far from killing the band).

 

^also depends on which EQ type you've got selected

 

Yep, the rotaries' range. However, if I'm not entirely wrong, I think none of the ranges goes nowhere near "kill" (though some go past -30dB, I think).

 

Yea, I even tried pressing all 3 blue buttons. I still hear sound coming through. I was expecting silence...

Maybe its because Im using XP, or that I activated it through the Demo?

What is the best mixer to use in Traktor... the Xone looks promising, but my midi controller doesn't have 4 knobs for each deck.

Nevermind.

 

I use a Nu mark Stealth Mixer.

This has kill on each eq, just push the rotary. Have used it in clubs, parties etc it is metal in construction and has lasted being for over 18 mts without hassle.
