    What follows is a minor rant.

    Whats up with all the Sarah the Instrumentalist social media ads? Is she the new face of Maschine and representative of the new target market for Maschine and the expansions product lines that NI are going after? I get that she is a social media influencer personality that operates in the consumer music hardware product markets that *may* kick start some extra sales, but I feel that NI is diluting the quality of the Maschine product by associating itself with this sort of image. It makes the Maschine product come across as a hipster music toy. These campaigns make me want to hide the fact that I have maschine in my toolbox.

    </rant>

    btw.. not a bash on Sarah (may she live long and prosper in the sun) or the poppy hip-hip R&B crowd -- it's more of a bash on NI and their marketing dept.

    Maschine is a toy for kids and beginner, don't think about it and buy the last new expansion.

    I'm not on social media so I only get influenced by the russians directly... with vodka. Nazdrovje!!!
    But yeah, it's clear NI is targeting that hipster 'i don't know what edm is, but I want to make it.. QUICK!!!' crowd.. But haven't they always? Dumb kids spend money.. it's good for the economy, ask John Lennon.
    I'm totally fine with it as long as they also keep putting out serious products I want to buy once in a while.
