At work... must leave immediately to install and play!
buy & download question:
hi, i own TS and i'm now in the NI shop buying the "T3 upgrade for registered users of TS.." at 99 €. just asking: as they're at the same price, if i buy the boxed version will i also be able to immediately download it?
Looks great just tried to use the effects delay....... click "on" then "freeze"..... then change the speed Makes all types of noises. is this a bug or is it supposed to sound like that?...... after deselecting this weird sounds fades out.
I've found a bug...
I just tried to duplicate deck. Clicking on the decks header and dragging it onto the other deck WHILST THE CROSS FADER IS ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT. The decks keep playing, but all sound stops. The master out indicator still shows sound going through, but there's nothing. I have to go to audio preferences and click on the audio driver again to bring the sound back.
This doesn't happen if the crossfader is in the middle. It didn't happen with an M4A (AAC) track, but when I was using a .aiff track.
I am not using a sound card but the internal outputs on my Macbook.
Actually after trying that with more Aiff's, it doesn't seem to be a problem. Maybe its a dodgy file.
the delay is not bad though.....I like the new fade out effect!
 :S :|
smilies can't explain...
I just test the deck duplicate function on OSX and Windows and cannot reproduce the problem you are seeing. I've tested bioth a fresh install and upgrade install and neither seems to replicate your behavior. Please file a support request, post your ticket nuimber back here and I'll alert the support list that the problem has been seen.
Once you're registration is complete, you will be able to download the update.
Is this a bug?
@ djfitty: Try turning on Quantize and see if that helps you out?
If you are talking about the odd pitch change when you are adjusting speed with quantize off then yes that is expected behavior.
@Dickins: I know you are using the internal sound, if you see this on the A8 too, check out the Traktor Scratch Downloads too. There are Driver updates for the Audio 8 (1.6.7 win) or (2.2.14 OSX) in case you weren't aware.
Have you tried switching sound devices, closing Traktor, opening again and the reselecting internal sound?
I noticed that there is a new driver for the Audio 8. Is this really a requirement? Will I notice problems by not upgrading the driver?
I know when I updated the firmware on my Macbook Pro I had to re-install the Audio 8 drivers.
Yeah it took me a few a few days of angst to work it out too. Was not pretty to start with.
First! Thanx NI!
I'm using it with the vci-100! But there's still the ramp up? What do I have to do in the midi settings?
