    Edit

I've got it up and working.....forget all the details :(

Make CERTAIN you have 2.1.1 installed first and you'll probably not have allot of the issues some of us had (damn, I thought I was up to date before I tried )

    THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!

i've followed every single piece of support advice here to the letter and DEEP FREQ still doesn't show up ANYWHERE. i've literally spent my entire friday trying to get this to work!

i'm running the latest version of the KORE PLAYER on an intel iMac 2.8 GHz i7 running OSX 10.6.3.

i've repaired permissions, reinstalled, deleted caches... on and on...

everything is up to date... why won't DEEP FREQ show up? why is this so difficult?

i'm not exactly a noobie when it comes to computers... did i just waste 80 bucks?

Also DEEP FREQ doesn't show up in my Service Centre, either!

I've attached a screengrab of the folder I went too. I dragged the files 'koredb' and 'Soundpacks.cache' to the desktop and launched Kore.
It then rebuilt and imported refreshed presets and soundpacks. Once successful I threw the two previously mentioned files into trash.
    I hope the pic helps!
Please note it is user/library... NOT MacHD/Library...

thedomus - thanks for the help but i've tried that a million times and it doesn't do anything...

it loads my deep reconstructions, transformations and the finger no problem but still no deep freq anywhere to be found...

i can't figure out why i'm the only person that can't make this work!

i'm even a native instruments dealer too!

can someone from NI please contact me ASAP?

hey guys i too am having the same problem as everyone else, but i can not even begin to fix the issue because when i download the kore 2 up date i am getting an error message upon installation. i have attached a file here to show the exact message.

i have tried downloading through NI service center and through the website manager.

can some one tell me why i am unable to install this update on osx?

and no i have not moved or re-named this file after downloading the update.

hello EW i was wondering if you can help me out a little more. it seems when after i re-installed kore 2 i was then able to attempt to update kore 2 from 2.1.009 to 2.1.1,
after downloading the proper file from the NI update manager page on the internet i attempted to update it seemed as though it was in fact updating but after a couple of tries it seems that the update did not in fact update kore 2 at all. Even after a re-boot and several attempt kore 2.1.009 still won't update to 2.1.1. Also Deep Freq does not install either assumably because 2.1.009 doesn't work with the new FX plugin pack.

really having a time trying to update is there a known issue with updating to 2.1.1 that i am unaware or am not seeing when searching for the solution?

    Hello kompletemail,

your problem could be that you have more than one application of Kore 2 on your computer and thus installed possibly different versions.

please make sure you haven't installed Kore 2 twice.

Ahh yes that was truly the case. I think it was do to the lack of understanding of how to fully uninstall on OSX. so i used the NI un-installer tool and i don't know why but also had to use a small app called clean my Mac.
So i then re-installed off the DVD and updated to 2.1.1, then re-installed deep freq, deleted the soundpack cache and boom there it is in the FX portion of Kore 2.1.1

    now to test drive it.

oh yeah now to do the same process on the macbook.
