There's really no keylock on the sampler decks?

Worst oversite by far on the S4!

If I grab a sample from a keylocked track playing outside its native tempo, when I switch to use that sample it plays at a different pitch.

It makes the sample decks virtually useless

 

So if we set our master to internal and then to ONE tempo and always played off that tempo then everything in the sample library would be correct for that ONE tempo?

Where abouts in that list does it say it's fixed. 1.01 still has the problem.?

 

It doesn't and all of these posts post-date the 1.01 update anyways.

 

I was using the software out of the box and not v1.01, the update does not fix the issue........

HELLO? No key lock on Sample Deck? sounds horrible when looping beats & or lyrics
might as well say hey the chipmunks & Darth Vader is included with the sample deck freaking enjoy your cross fader...come on NI UPDATE! PLEASE!

 

Yep. It makes the sample decks all but worthless.

 

+1 - Update ASAP for this feature! Sample slots keylock is very important to maintaining a good set.

 

How do I use the key lock feature on the S4? it seems that everytime i activate it, the whole song goes into a lower tune and it cannot be changed. Is there some setting that I have to adjust? I would like to assume that it works EXACTLY like the master tempo on the CDJ , but i cant seem to get Keylock to do that..

I just want to :

1) keep pitch of the song as it is.

2) increase/decrease speed of the track without
getting pitch changes that cause vocals to be silly etc.

hey guys, why is it when i activate the "keylock" feature , the entire tone of the track im playing becomes lower.. can anyone help me with that? or maybe it's just a problem with my S4?

 

I don't think you are the only one unfortunately, any help anyone?
