What keyboard are you using to run Komplete? Are most people on the NI midi controller keyboard or using a 3rd party midi controller? I had an NI keyboard a few years back but found if a little clunky for the way I work but I’m trying to develope and evolve and wondering about the keyboard.

I’m on Komplete Ultimate 11 and thinking going 13 Ultimate and maybe getting the keyboard controller. I currently have a Novation LaunchKey 61.

    Thanks.

I'm using a Machine MK3, and the NKS system with Screens are fantastic. I would have a look at the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-series mk2 keyboards. There is a limited 25-year anniversary model out at the moment.

KK S61 MK2, massive time saver when it comes to finding and tweaking sounds, being able to load up anything and have it ready takes the monotony out of things and integrates well with Ableton Live

Thinking bout upgrading to Mk2....How does it integrate with the MPC software ? I use both Maschine & MPC.
In midi mode Do the transport controllers still put out CC ?

Is the big knob midi programmable on the MK2 ?

Unless MPC offers Mackie protocol, no integration and no, the “big knob” which I assume you mean the navigation encoder is not midi programmable.

    Okay thanx..
Yes I was talking about nav encoder..
Guess I will stick with the Mk1 then... As It integrated well with Mpc even the transport buttons

I use a third part controller with Logic, a Nektar Panorama P6.

I only use KK for a single library in Kontakt Player. The Nektar already controls every other plugin I use, even the ones built into Logic, along with providing full control of Logic's mixer and transport. KK is my only plugin that doesn't play well with the Nektar.

I followed the instructions on mapping third party controllers to create a KK template for the Nektar's dumb controller mode. It's primitive! There's no browser support beyond next/previous instrument selection and next/previous patch selection. I still use a mouse to select categories, but once the preset list is displayed in the browser I can move through it patch by patch. I use buttons to scroll through the macro pages and knobs to control the macros on the current page. It works fine for recording automation into tracks. I keep the KK GUI open in Logic to see what I am doing

This works OK for my purposes. Adding even an M32 just to control one library isn't cost effective for me. For Komplete owners, I'd recommend just getting a NI board over buying a third party controller.
