    thomas,

will core be supported in the next version of reaktor?

that is: will current core cells and code function properly in the next version, will the graphical core coding paradigm continue in its current form, etc.?

the answers to these questions will help us builders know if it "makes sense" to put a lot of time and effort into honing our core skills now, with the next version of reaktor in the not-too-distant future.

apologies if you have answered this elsewhere. (if so, could you provide a link?)

    thanks. :)

i think the core manual also states that future versions of reaktor will focus on updating core, not primary level, but i may have remembered that wrong...

From Reaktor's manual: "In the future, Native Instruments will put less emphasis on creating new primary-level modules. Instead, we will use our new Reaktor Core technology and provide them in the form of core cells."

thanks introne for sharing this. :)

the manual was written, what ... five years ago? things might have changed radically since then. which is why i'm asking Thomas to bring us up to date.

Of course Core will remain an important part of future Reaktor versions. They will also not break backwards compatibility in any other way, that would be insane.
