    Nice looking designs! they are all great, really like the quad lfo, lofi osc and metaverb

    i have a few jumbo quilts ready, and i'll post an Incendia Next pack here next week. its a new beta version, i kind of pushed it and got some cool results but it crashed in the end

    Still, before it did crashed i got 220 new renders at 8k rez, some of the black and white ones are huge...250mb an image, but they are mutz nutz quality.

    Thats like the size of a room huge. Each design is mega comlpex so many different crops and textures maybe found when zoomed in original size

    might be useful for spicing up the Core macros a bit, or using in Block GUI design!

    they were made by using about 20 different baseshapes all repeated and plotted out over various Octohedral Radiolarion and Hyperbolic Tesselated fractals amongst others. Each baseform has a different design made in mandlebulb as a colour map and a different map as surface texture.

    Oh yeah!
    The grungies don't look like choco-sweeties.
    But the knobs on LFONOISE are to clean.
    Make it stain, please.

    Here's what I did in Reaktor today: started working on this sequenced dual oscillator! So far it has internal and external FM, ring modulation, and a bunch of alternate outputs. I'm thinking about making a companion block with a mixer and effects as well. Coming soon...

    nice task! Internal FM should be phase locked modulation between oscillators, means there are fixed ratios and common gate-reset. So the sound doesn't change when pressing another key. External „FM” means mostly logarithmic modulation, modulation of pitch by an envelope or LFO; you should use sinus oscillators.
    The pitch changes by exponential modulation, so you have to compare with an additional 440Hz-oscillator to get a proper mix with other oscillators - much to-do.

    Modulation of ratio is very interesting with unexpected results.
    Phase modulation is another task.

    Thanks for the info and the links; I'm learning a lot! By the way, yes, this will be a sinewave oscillator!

    Back to work for me, I need coffee first though...

    I think it's a good idea to give it a different style of FM from my other blocks, to make it more unique. So I decided to check out the way the Bento oscillator does it. Here is the macro they used, which I copied and it sounds really good.
    Screenshot (105).png
    Since I am using the Poddig DPW oscillator, I have been using his linear FM design up until now.
    His suggestion to use linear FM was because the logarithmic design I had been using was basically the same as what blocks can already do with A/B modulation. So Implementing another type of FM would make it more versatile.

    hmm - Bento's oscillator is only liner or logarithmic (audio) modulation. So the sound changes when you use different keys. For frequency modulation (similar to Yamaha's DX-serie) you have to use a fixed ratio between carrier and modulator. FM-Synthesis changes the pitch of the oscillator; so Yamaha used phase modulation which doesn't produce a pitch shift.
    Carrier and modulator have a fixed ratio between their frequencies.
    F.i. ratio=1.5
    carrier=440Hz, modulator=660Hz
    carrier=900Hz, modulator=1350Hz etc.

    So both (or more) oscillators has to be changed by multiplying their frequency by ratio.
    _.png
    then use phase modulation (adds the modulating audio signal to the phase of the carrier):

    - not simple -
    ciao herw
