THREE requests: Shift+Jog for fast scanning through file, Left Adjust loop & ext without restart

I've moved to NI hardware as my old gear is no longer available and I need a spare just in case.

Have managed to preserve most of my custom mapping, but what i'm missing are:

Shift + Jog Wheel to move through a track quickly. I do not want to touch my computer when mixing, but with the 4mk3 i'm having to use my mouse to move around in tracks. Custom mapping the jog wheels is currently impossible as you have to override default behaviour and that breaks all the rest of the jog wheel functions and I cannot recreate them manually.

Shift + Loop to adjust loop length from the left. I'm using custom maps to do this, but critically, they sometimes don't work (the loop change part of the map simply doesn't work, but the move part does, IN THE WRONG DIRECTION - so makes no sense) and last night they almost ******* my performance when I went to shorten a loop to catch the last word of a phrase on a transition and it randomly moved the looped phrase 8 bars left. Fortunately it wasn't awful, but unreliability of custom map function when more than one thing is mapped to a key is unacceptable. I've used the same maps on other hardware flawlessley for many years, so the error is specific to the s4mk3

Maybe just adding a simple "adjust loop from left" as a map option would fix it, so i can assign a SINGLE function instead of having to combine 3.

Finally, I need to be able to change my B or D decks to external input on the fly. We had a performer turn up unexpectedly and wanted to route him through my s4, but setting them to external didn't work until i restarted the s4. Which is a nonsense.

Also, as others have asked and i have before: soft takeover as a tempo slider option. Don't like having to replace default mappings as breaks the vinyl mode. (have to go through multiple steps to ensure the platters start spinning when switching mode)

 

With the S4 MK3 default mapping pressing shift and moving the jog quickly scrolls through the track if you have the deck stopped. You can also use the move encoder and set the amount of beats to 32 to do the same job but you can keep the deck playing using this method.

 

the moment you use the shift button to set modifiers, it stops working . move encoder is a nice trick, but just a changed workflow
